The strident tones came through the radio,
And announced themselves
Israeli!
Others took defensive positions.
The mediator,
On BBC, changed
His shirt
And asked another question.
They had set up camp around a wall that was
Either
Only half way done,
Or,
‘What are you gonna do about it!’
Fully scaled up.
It didn’t occur to me to turn the dial.
I thought about my passport instead.

Ack.. a tight read, my friend!! Leaves me wondering about how we prioritize … and reprioritize!!
They say, man is very adaptive… and I wonder… are we really?!?!?
I read this one yesterday and I was kinda left speachless. It certainly hit me straight in the gut. I can say nothing more than what has been said except that you hit the mark on this one and I am looking forward to exploring the rest of writings
What the poem implies gets stabbed in the heart by the photo. Devastating.
